Your tasks will include:

• Design and implementation (in ABAP) of critical functionality in the new OData v4 stack
• Alignment with Product Owner and Architect on evolving our framework with new features and with a strong focus on robustness, maintainability, and scalability
• Driving the adoption of novel methods to cater for short cycle deliveries to the cloud
• Work on resolving OData-related issues in productive cloud and onPremise systems
• Act as a mentor and role model for junior colleagues in the team

What you bring:

• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
• University degree in computer science, engineering or similar.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, preferably with touchpoints to HANA, CDS and ABAP.
• Ability to master the concepts forming the ABAP programming model (like CDS and RAP) on an abstract level.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• High level of attention to detail, self-motivation and agility to prevail in a challenging and complex technical landscape.
• Good teamplay with a strong ability to network and a drive for tangible results.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical team members in global teams.
