Job purpose:

• Aladdin professionals with expertise and prior work experience on one or more of Aladdin modules – Core Aladdin, Aladdin Risk or Accounting & Sourcing

Your client responsibilities:

• Primary point of contact throughout the life of your project
• Analysing and profiling existing client systems data configuration to prepare data configuration templates/ inputs for new systems as per client requirements and best practices. This may include clean-up activities on existing systems and processes to ensure accuracy and completeness before data configuration begins in new systems
• Handling of data topics relating to interface, logic/rule building, data flow (including scheduling/timing), required data source etc
• Active role in testing, parallel run leading up to Go-Live. This includes ensuring and verifying data quality is per client expectations and TOM.
• Close collaboration with Data Functional Lead, team members, stakeholders, users and vendors to ensure good quality data configuration.
• Deliver good quality artefacts promptly to support decision making required by stakeholders
• Early identification of project risks
• Contingency and scenario planning
• Rapid resolution of any issues
• Scope change management
• Resource management
• Ensuring that project objectives and deliverables are met on time and in full
• Monitoring the progress of the project
• Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed
• Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis
• Willing to be cross trained and work on any of the industry focused wealth and asset management packages

Mandatory skills:

• Sectorial experience in financial services / capital markets, with domain knowledge on different asset classes across front office , middle office and back office for either or both “buy” and “sell” side of business
• Good knowledge on portfolio management, trade execution, data control and operations and portfolio administration
• Techno functional knowledge of Core Wealth / Asset management with good exposure to at least one third party package like Aladdin, Multifonds, Charles River, FNZ, SEI or equivalent etc
• Should Posses high-level understanding of data model and application/business architecture around the package
• Good experience understanding client requirements and streamline them appropriately to the team.
• Understand high-level business requirements and relate them to appropriate package capabilities
• Define and validate customisation needs for package as per client requirements
• Define and validate integration / data requirements for package as per client requirements
• Review client processes and workflows and make recommendations to the client to maximise benefits from package.
• Create test script pertaining to the Data stream
• Show in-depth knowledge on CFA concepts like portfolio management, wealth planning, Fixed income, Equity, Alternate investment, Derivatives etc
• Good Leadership skills
• Excellent client-facing skills
• MBA/MCA/ BE / B.Tech/ equivalent with FIS product experience of 3 + years

Preferred skills:

• Prior Client facing experience
• At least 3 years of experience in Investment Data team and/ or related projects. This should cover market data, reference data, transaction data and trade lifecycle data. Advantage if familiar with Blackrock’s Aladdin, Refinitiv and Bloomberg data
• Experience in any or more of Oracle, MS SQL,DB2 databases
