Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience or PhD. in Computer Science/Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Information Technology, or related disciplines.2+ years of experience in the following technical areas:

• Numerical analysis or scientific software designs with an emphasis in dense and sparse linear algebra

• Extensive coding in C++, C or Fortran languages

• Parallel Programming using OpenMP, TBB or MPI

• Linux or Windows OS development

Preferred Qualifications: Some experience with:

• Architecture-specific code optimizations to achieve high performance on CPU and/or GPUs.

• Heterogenous compute targeting GPUs for high performance.

• Active use of debuggers and performance analysis tools.
