Your role:

• You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and test of real time embedded C++ software using traditional, modeling, andformal methods.

• You will collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, where you get to work on robotics projects using Matlab, Simulink, and ROSfor controlling all motion within a medical X-ray system.

• You will join a high-performance, culturally diverse, highly educated software and mechatronics department, working on prototyping, new product development, obsolescence, and field issue (data) analysis.

You're the right fit if:

• Youare a resident of the Netherlands

• You hold a master’s degree in a relevant Software Engineering field

• You have over 5 years’ experience in real-time embedded software development

• You have full lifecycle software development experience in C++

• You have experience with formal methods and related technologies such as: ASD, Dezyne, mCRL2, CoCo

• Prior experience in the field of automation or robotics isan advantage(ROS, Matlab, Simulink)

• You have experience working with a very large codebase (new and legacy code) requiring new features added, updates, (bug)fixing and improvements in existing code

• You are a team player who can work well with cross functional teams and comfortably engage and communicate with technical and non-technical team members

• You possess excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

• You possess a lean/pragmatic attitude who can drive change and continuously seeks improvements and ways to reduce ‘waste’

• Experience in working in a healthcare or other regulated environment product development environment is an advantage
