Currently pursuing a degree (preferably a Master of Science degree) in Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited University / National College of Engineering (École Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs) in France or equivalent in Europe.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

• Work with members of Network Architecture Research team to define and implement software for advanced joint cloud and networking functions to improve efficiency and performance of their operations.
• Implement proof of concepts for demonstrations and presentations.
• Leverage open-source and standard software for your solutions to be developed.

You have:

• Strong programming skills: e.g., Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, and similar.
• Knowledge of communication networks and/or cloud computing, e.g., Network control platform like OpenDaylight and container management platform like Kubernetes.
• An interest in autonomous networking and blockchain / distributed ledger technology concepts.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Hyperledger Fabric or other web 3 and distributed ledger technologies.
• Experience working with public cloud platforms, e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, others.
• Knowledge of packet / optical communication networks and control theory
• An understanding & interest of AI/ML and CI/CD methodologies
