The Senior Risk Analyst, Credit Risk Analytics position at PayPal supports PayPal Europe's credit oversight efforts to enable strong growth of the existing credit portfolio as well as the roll-out of the new credit initiatives. You will focus on data analytics, identification of risk trends and the overall credit risk management. You will play a crucial role in monitoring and evaluating credit risk metrics to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk appetite.
Key Responsibilities
- Support credit and fraud risk oversight efforts by analyzing credit risk data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues across PayPal's credit portfolio
 - Develop and maintain regular reports on key credit risk metrics and performance indicators
 - Evaluate effectiveness of credit risk strategies and recommend improvements based on data analysis
 - Identify emerging risk trends and potential impacts on the credit portfolio
 - Partner with cross-functional teams to implement credit risk management initiatives and ensure roll out in line with the defined metric projections
 - Support regulatory compliance efforts by performing regulatory gap assessments to ensure compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements
 - Assist in refining credit risk models and methodologies to improve risk assessment accuracy
 - Prepare presentations and materials for senior management on credit portfolio performance
 
Ideally you will have
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
 - 3+ years of experience in credit risk analysis, financial analysis, or related analytical role
 - Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets
 - Proficiency in SQL and experience with data analysis tools
 - Knowledge of credit risk principles and practices
 - Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly
 - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
