Key requirements:
The individual must be creative, confident, a good team player, and organised to assist in the BoQ and Take off/Measurement sheet preparation. The successful candidate will have:
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills to participate in or lead meetings and build relationships across our client by providing them solutions to their business challenges.
- Degree in civil engineering with Deeper knowledge on BoQ, materials and specifications
- Understanding of the other airfield infrastructure like airfield geometry, grading & drainage, Security, AGL & NAV-Aids requirements, etc.
- Ability to manage, coordinate, write, review, and edit text, specifications, drawings, and presentation slides.
- Ability to bring-in more opportunities and support on proposal submissions.
- CAPEX Estimation based on PAR / Similar projects.
- BoQ based on MoRTH / DSR / MES SSR.
- Capable of taking quantity from the software’s like REVIT / Civil 3D.
Technical/Functional Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the BoQ Professional is to support the disciplined application for airports:
- BoQ of airfield / roads Pavements, Infra BoQ /MEP/Structural BoQ and Electrical BoQ.
- Preparation of detailed estimate.
- Writing airfield BoQ description as per construction specifications.
- Reviewing of the BoQ received from another Consultants/client.
- Taking responsibility for their own work and producing higher quality output.
- Communicating with counterpart in lead office/Client
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on project delivery.
- Checking to ensure that the deliverables meet the requirements as set out in the brief.
- Develops appropriate markup drawings identification of quantity backup and sharing of relevant information, best practices etc.
- Ability to travel periodically (domestically and internationally) and occasionally work out of core hours
Here's what you'll need
- A graduate/Diploma in civil engineering degree with Quantity surveying or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in estimation, BoQ description, Rate Analysis.
- 10 years of experience in Quantity surveying and estimation.
