Job Description

So, what will you will be responsible for?

Bringing energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:

• Carry out and aid Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Performance Verification (PV) for various laboratory equipment such as analytical and precision balances and vacuum ovens.
• Support with documentation- review and archival including electronic review of Elogs/Forms.

• Support with new equipment installation and qualification

• Complete monitoring and verification of the performance of laboratory systems such as temperature and humidity probes.
• Carry out and aid in the execution of laboratory tasks such as the ordering and management of chemicals and reagents and support analysts in the preparation of task such as the execution of monthly and quarterly environmental monitoring techniques and the management of the sample retain store.
• Train on and support laboratory analysts completing fundamental laboratory techniques
• Work collaboratively on continuous improvement and problem-solving activities in the laboratory
• Preparation for GMP and Safety audits :
  • Verifying Instrument Status
  • Document retrieval

The internship will be completed in full on site.

The ideal person will have:

• Be a true self starter, who works effectively on their own initiative.
• Strong computer literacy, in particular Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organised, with good time management and prioritization.
• Collaborative team player.
• Interested and curious with a flexible and adaptable attitude.
• Is studying for a B.Sc in Pharmaceutical/Chemical/Analytical Science or a related science discipline.
