As the
Senior PV Engineer, you will be responsible for working as part of our Energy and Power team to lead design and review services and technical input. This rolewill also assist in growing the service line through identification of new clients and opportunities and developing talent to support the successful execution of these projects.
- Tertiary degree in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical Engineering, licensed is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience, including at least 5 years in PV Solar
- Design management experience, preferably with some as Owner’s Rep or Owner’s Engineer
- Experience on Projects delivered by large Engineering Procurement and Construction Contractors
- Understands the typical schedule for design, manufacture, and construction of large PV projects.
- Understands the instrumentation and automated controls required to efficiently connect hybrid generation plant onto a high voltage utility grid
- Effectively interface with other Project delivery functions – Risk, Schedule, cost control, Health and Safety
- Proactive problem solver with a practical approach and experience managing a team
