As Lab Engineer on the Data Collection team, you will champion the quality and efficiency of data collection for the organization, implementing and executing on large scale data collection, ensuring deliverables meet and exceed customer expectations.
- audio or other device sensor measurement experience
-Python and object oriented programming skills
-Experience with parsing, maintaining, and verification of large data sets.
-Experience working with consumer device hardware
Key job responsibilitiesRunning test cases on devices – such as executing use case scenario based testingExecute test cases, interpret, and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution. Able to debug and restore data collection systems.
Support projects including setup and verification of all system components, trouble-shooting during set-up and live sessions, and ensure integrity and upload, metrics reporting tasks and processes, and document best practicesApply knowledge of wireless and networking technologies, mobile devices, and quality assurance practices to ensure that connected devices meet all target requirements
Gaining knowledge of the features and detailed functional requirements to execute your assigned tests
Work onsite 5 days per week
Lift up to 25lbs when needed

Python coding
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
Effective written communication skills
Able to problem solve and operate independently
Experience with writing the test plans, use cases, and issue reports

Experience with Acoustics measurement and signal processing
Experience working in a linux environment
Matlab, Bash, or other coding/scripting experience
Experience configuring, deploying and testing software updates including ability to identify issues and escalate to development as appropriate ·
Proven track record of using to analyze issues, make decisions, and generate various solutions
Exceptional attention to detail, ability to follow through, and strong organizational skills
Experience testing in a Consumer Electronics lab or field environment
