- : The Regulatory Reporting Centre in Budapest is a key part of Citi’s Finance function. It is a pioneering centre on a global scale where regulatory reporting professionals work together in a central location, to ensure consistent quality of local regulatory reporting. Our teams create complex reports that detail prime aspects of the bank’s financials for the Central Banks and other regulators.
- Product Control: Product Control, the largest department in Finance, is primarily responsible for controlling daily profit and loss reporting, price verification and trading activity for the Institutional Clients Group (ICG). We work closely across functions on a daily basis (including the Trading desks, Risk Management, Operations and other areas of Finance) and develop a deep understanding of the products traded, along with the associated market risks and accounting complexities.
- Valuation Control: The Valuation Control Group (VCG) is an independent team of subject matter experts. VCG’s primary responsibility is to reasonably ensure that risk portfolios are fairly valued in accordance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements. In doing so, the team works closely with its stakeholders, including senior management, business heads, product control, market risk, regulators, and both internal and external audit.
- : Corporate Treasury’s main duty is to oversee and manage the bank balance in order to have a proper governance that complies with the entities business and the regulation. This scope covers wide topics such as Funding, Transfer Pricing, Capital and Liquidity risk monitoring. We are in close contact with the businesses involved in the operational activities, for example the Trading desks, Credit departments, and Branches.
What we’ll need from you:
- Recent graduate or junior Finance professional with 0-3 years of work experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science or similar majors is an advantage but not a must - we are a development-focused organization looking look for capable colleagues and help them grow to excellence in their fields
- Good command of English
- Confident analytical and communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills - training will be provided on other in-house and industry standard systems used in these positions
