Your role and responsibilities

You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.

Main responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Team Lead of IT Legal Reporting, the consultant will work on legal reporting application projects.

BA / PM Responsibilities:

  • Analyse regulation, business scenarios/cases and contribute to business / regulatory requirements definition
  • Define Functional Design Specification
  • Manage vendor application relationship (software package)
  • Execute database scripts and queries (SQL) to validate data integrity and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with the business to provide guidance from an IT point of view
  • Define and follow-up on the overall (IT) project schedule(s) that capture cross functional involvements and determine the best course of action
  • Define / clarify the project(s) budgets ; track and manage project spent
  • Ensure on-time delivery, cost within budget, scope risks change control and communication for the whole IT project
  • Provide guidance for business analysts, Developers, and testers assigned to the projects and ensure good project management practices are employed throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify key risks and issues and define mitigation scenarios
  • Perform a timely reporting to IT management and bank stakeholder
  • Prepare and lead IT coordination meeting (IT Project Committee); provide input for business meetings from an IT point of view

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Years of experience: +10: Senior
  • Strong Experience required:
    • IT Business Analyst / Projects management skills in Legal Reporting
    • Finance, Risk regulation such as Basel IV
    • Legal Reporting hands-on experience such as Corep, Finrep, IFRS9, etc.
    • Legal Reporting Software: Wolters Kluwer (WKFS), Regnology, Fire

o Proficient in SQL and database scripting for legal reporting data validation.

  • French & English fluency and excellent command of written English
  • Good understanding of the bank’s business processes Good operational experience in the implementation of various IT Legal Reporting projects

  • Experience in private banking: Mandatory
