You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Responsibilities· Decommissioning and processing of legacy hardware out of the data center facilities
· Relocating and moving of large enterprise equipment
· Hard drive installation, removal and destruction
· Creating/attaching labels and barcodes
· Basic Networking removal/installation and clearing of configurations
· Physical layer and Application layer
· Updating progress through a web ticketing system
· Documenting procedures
· Escalating to senior technicians and management as needed/required
· Work with basic PC components/hardware:
· HDD/SSD/Flash/Removable storage media
· USB/FireWire/Esata
· Ram/CPU/Motherboard/Input-Output devices· Must be at least 18 years oldAbout the team

- High school or equivalent diploma
- 1+ years of experience in an IT role or relevant experience

- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, etc.)
- 2+ years data center experience
- 2+ years experience with Linux based troubleshooting such as firmware flashes, and bios configurations
- 2+ years experience with a ticketing system
