Halo Studios is looking for our nextand infrastructurethe futureUnreal Engine 5.In this role, you will apply yourskills to solve varied technical challenges that are critical to enhancing the game developer experience and game delivery systems,ultimately ensuringthe successful and on-time delivery of the next generation of Halo products.You willdefine technical strategiesindustry standard systems and tools while learning, and developingthe bleeding edge cloud and AI technologiesto increase developer efficiencyRoles at our studio are flexible, and you can work from home up to two days a week in this role.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical disciplineAND 4+ yearstechnical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

    • ORequivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experiencedeveloping AAA gameswith industry standard or proprietary game engines (e.g. Unreal Engine).
  • + year experiencedevelopinginAzure or other cloud environments.
  • 2+ years' experience building/desiging modern DevOps infrastructure including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization or orchestration technologies (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Azure Kubernetes Services).

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirementsisrequiredfor this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
  • requiredto pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience building/desiging modern DevOps infrastructure including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization and orchestration technologies (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Azure Kubernetes Services).
  • +years hands-on experience with Unreal Engine
  • + years engineering experience at a Game Studio.
  • +years experienceusing/designingdata and observability solutions tomonitorkey performance indicators (KPIs) for CI/CD infrastructure or developer experience.
