This is a student position which the students that is performing some of the following deliverables:
- Fully functional database.
- Interactive dashboards and visualizations.
- Documentation for database schema and visualization usage.
- Features and Functionality.
- Database: Data import/export functionality, data validation, user authentication.
- Visualizations: Filter and drill-down analysis, real-time data updates, export options (e.g., PBI).
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
- Advanced Analytical skills, willing to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present findings effectively in Spanish and English.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize solutions.
Qualifications:Minimum qualifications,you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
- Must be pursuing a Computer Sciences or software developer engineering or related field (70 percent engineering program completed, at least 1 year remaining as an active student).
- 6+ months of experience in related areas/fields:
- Database Management: Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining databases.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and database optimization techniques.
- Programming languages such as: Python, C++, SQL, Perl, PowerShell, Batch, DAX.
- Power BI Visualization: Expertise in creating interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI, willing to connecting to various data sources, transform data, and develop custom visualizations.
- Documentation: Creating comprehensive and clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Documenting database schemas, data flows, and Power BI reports.
- Programming Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or DAX for data manipulation and analysis.
- Intermediate to advanced English Level.
- Willing to dedicate up to 45 hours per week to the Student worker program.
Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica (this position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship).
