Innovate, Design, develop and maintain automation strategies for production workflows and simplify the support experience for the application support teams.
Build, test, document and deploy software solutions using state of the art proprietary technology from JPMorgan Chase and open-source technology.
Plan, manage and optimize the production related infrastructure (Linux hosts, Distributed computing/AWS, MQ, Databases, Networks) including capacity and resiliency management.
Debug production issues by digging into the application code and software development / programming for any high-level language.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, computer Science or equivalent
7+ years of working experience and mid-level proficiency in software development using Python
7+ years of working experience with public cloud platforms (e.g. AWS), infrastructure provisioning, software configuration and implementation.
Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills with working knowledge of Linux (or similar) infrastructure.
Good interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a global team.
Self-starter and willing to work in a dynamic environment with constantly evolving priorities.
Experience in building out observability to continuously understand the health of systems, using OpenTelemetry and tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Cloudwatch and Splunk.
Ability to analyzing complex systems – failure analysis / root cause analysis, developing, improving, and maintaining technical engineering documentation.
