- Create and improve metrics, driving efficiencies in repeatable work.
- Identify resource requirements and gaps, establishing a regional team roadmap to success.- Drive strategic communication, provides a technical strategy with limited guidance within their assigned Region.
- Drive team timeliness, quality, operational stability and success meeting customer requirements/business objectives. Can identify where to simplify, optimize, and reduce overhead.
- Establish and/or streamline metrics, development, engineering, test, and operational excellence best practices. Share best practices with peers.
- Build trust and relationships with different stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Commissioning, Construction and Design)About the team

- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical/Mechanical/Structural Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years in managing a distributed engineering team. (Experienced Manager).
- Managed a team of 6+ direct reports for 4+ years
- Experience in managing other managers

- Organized, with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines and budget
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, with high quality standards
- Understanding of both mechanical and electrical equipment/design related to data centers (Including but not limited to: uninterruptable power sources, diesel generators, electrical switchgear, power distribution units, variable frequency drives, automatic/static transfer switches, chillers [air-cooled and water-cooled], pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, CRAHs, air economizers, etc...)
- Ability to develop solutions and execute plans on complex projects
- Previous ownership of fast-track design/build projects and or multiple significant upgrade projects
