Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative/business-oriented field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience within one or more of the following fields: News Publishing, Strategy Consulting, Business Development, Media or Digital Strategy, or Corporate Strategy Leadership.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to converse with Japanese clients.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with sales, partnerships, business development, or management within the traditional media industry (e.g., News, Publishing, Broadcasting).
- Experience influencing executive stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, solve complex problems, and scale effectively across a large and highly distributed organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
