Minimum Qualifications
- - Knowledge of material science concepts, structure-property relationships
- - BS or equivalent with in Material Science & Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Materials, Printing, Process Engineering, or related fields
Preferred Qualifications
- - 3 or more years relevant confirmed experience
- - Experience working with contract manufacturers and vendors
- - Statistical Analysis knowledge (e.g., Design of Experiments (DOE), Process Stability/Control/Capability) and D/PFMEA
- - Proven understanding of analytical techniques (such as XRF, SEM, EDS, FTIR, TEM, ICP, GCMS & XPS) to characterize formulations, contaminants, and fix failure modes
- - Experience with paper, fiber, or bio-based materials
- - MS or PhD or equivalent experience in related fields
