Your day-to-day
Design, implement andoperatedata platform’s initiatives to provide secure, scalable,reliable
provisioning,managementand monitoring solutions for the supported data platforms
Ensure systems are running athighestpossible performancelevel byanalyzing and tuning queries
Implement solutions to measure and remediate bottlenecks in the data platforms
initiativesWhat do you need tobring
Bachelorsand/ormaster's in computer scienceor related field of study
3+ years' experience in software development or a related field
3+ years' experienceoperatingon-prem/cloud databases and/or distributed systems 24x7x365
Experience with query profiling, reviewing optimizer dump, data modeling and relational schema design
Ability to troubleshoot problems
Hands-on experience with designing and implementing infrastructure to support global-scale services
Hands-on experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions from AWS (or similar cloudprovider):
Infrastructure as code (AWS CLI, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
Hands-on programming and scripting (Lambda, API GW, Python, Java, Bash)
Hands-on experience with database operations including, but not limited-to- AWS DynamoDB, AWSDocumentDB, Cassandra, MySQL, AWS Aurora, Redis,ElasticSearch
Strong communicationskills with the ability to understand and explain technical issues to a non-technical audience
AWS Solutions Architect is a plus
