Job Description:We're looking for someone who has a keen interest in computer hardware (and software) and wants to do hands-on work developing and supporting future computing platforms (including servers, client and graphics), with the ability to grow their knowledge and continuously learn as the role and technology evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with customers to help them integrate Intel products into their client and edge systems
- Working with our sales and engineering teams to enable our customers to design and develop products
- Troubleshooting with issue replication and debugging
- Building customer-facing demonstrations and proof of concepts to help customers see the value of Intel technology
- Providing training to customers and sales teams
- Working with and influencing engineering and product design teams
- Working within a global organisation with teams based in multiple time zones
There is an opportunity to get involved in other exciting
projectsoutside of day-to-day responsibilities, such as:
- Participating in new product development, representing the customers' technical needs, creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective, and developing and presenting technical product training materials and demonstrations
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
- At least 2-3 years of experience in designing or supporting technical designs (motherboards, systems) in the embedded market segment or Data Center
- Demonstrable electronic debug skills
- Demonstrable technical knowledge of x86 PC Architecture
- Demonstrable Electronic design skills and understanding of system-level engineering trade-offs
- Experience with computer interfaces PCIe, USB, etc.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Proven track record of providing high-quality customer support
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative, communicate and collaborate effectively
- Genuine passion for technology and a curiosity to understand how it works, with a hands-on approach
Nice to have:
- Experience and knowledge of the embedded market segment, especially Internet of Things or Data Center
- Hands-on experience of electronic test equipment, e.g. DVM, PSU, oscilloscopes and the ability to learn in-house tools
- Knowledge of assembly language (preferably X86), C/C++ and/or hardware verification languages
- PCB rework/soldering experience with SMD components
- Fluency in other European languages
