About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of the Waikeria Prison FM contract within Honeywell performance requirements. This role will be based on our satellite office in Waikeria, Waikato region.

The Operations Manager has overall responsibility for delivery of the service in a manner that meets contract and Honeywell health, safety and environment requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight of service delivery activities and contract deliverables
• Maintain overall financial control of service delivery
• Provide guidance in delivering contract requirements and deliverables
• Manage delivery of refurbishment and lifecycle programs
• Liaise and build productive customer relationships and take charge of customer satisfaction
• Manage workload, improve processes and systems, point of escalation and work with other department to meet mutual goals, KPIs and targets
• Manage and promote implementation Health and Safety Management Plan
• Establish and maintain high standards of performance for self, matrix report and others

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Degree in Business Management / Facility Management or Technical / Trade Qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in management role within service / facility management business
• Exceptional staff and process improvement skills
• Strong commercial skills and broad experience to technical issues
• Experience in PPP is desirable
• Ability to work in challenging environments with infrastructure, equipment, systems and wide variety of client groups
• Financial, Contract, Facility and People Management experience are essential
• Business Administration experience is desired
• Self-motivated and able to work in fast paced environment
• Strong commitment to safety and safe working environment
