5+ years of experience in programme management, business operations, event management or a similar role driving complex projects or executive initiatives. Experience within a large tech organisation or consulting firm in a Chief of Staff, Business Manager, or Program Manager capacity is highly regarded.
Project & Event Management: Demonstrated ability to plan and execute end-to-end events or programs involving senior executive stakeholders and external customers. Strong organisational and project management skills with a keen attention to detail and quality.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable engaging cross-functionally across a matrixed organisation, with ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders towards the desired business outcomes.
Agility & Problem-Solving: Adept at working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Proactive and solution-oriented, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a “can-do” attitude in tackling new challenges.
Preferred Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field.
Relevant professional certifications in project management or event management are a bonus.
Responsibilities
Executive Visits: Lead the planning and execution of senior executive visits to the ANZ region, working with local and global stakeholders to coordinate agendas, meetings, and events that maximize the impact of visiting Microsoft executives.
Customer Programs : Support the Chief of Staff to maximise ANZ customer impact from the suite of Microsoft customer programs available including CxO series (e.g. CEO, CIO, CISO summits, Asia CxO200), and key Executive Briefing Centre engagements. Develop and maintain the operational infrastructure to drive efficiencies and consistency for account teams across the business to leverage CxO programs for maximum business impact.
Flagship Internal Events: Provide operational support for large-scale team events across ANZ, such as quarterly town halls, leadership offsites and summits. Coordinate end-to-end logistics, support content preparation, and cross-team alignment to ensure these internal events run smoothly to maximise business impact.
Ad Hoc Strategic Support: Serve as a reliable point of contact for ad hoc projects and operational support as directed by the Chief of Staff. Flexibly take on special initiatives or urgent requests, applying project management discipline to drive them to completion in response to the area’s evolving business needs.
