Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

To drive profitable and sustainable market share growth with the target Luxury Fashion Channel accounts and lead the communication with internal and external key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • the account’s Net Sales budget , orderbook building and conversion
      • Manage the full sales process from previews to sell out of the assigned accounts
      • Develop account plans in collab with line manager and account for selected customers
      • identify Key Business/Growth Drivers (KBD) and develop projects and activities in partnership with market teams to grow/maximize our business, and to improve a profitable relationship
      • Manage all commercial discussion and agreements with accounts i.e. Trade Terms, SWB, MWB
  • Owns the sell-out activation
      • Drive sell out via formalized Account Marketing Plans jointly with Account Marketing team and line manager
      • Monitors and acts upon the sell-out and stock in trade to re-fill or push faster sell-out
  • Monitor, analyzeand report on the assigned Accounts on a regular basis topro-actively manage all business KPIs linked to the account base
      • Ensure a constant communication flow about status of tools (e.g. Global Account Reporting, Relevant Playbooks), Drive LFS x Market communication and collaboration regarding the account base to ensure one brand strategy with the accounts
  • Act as an ambassadorfor the assigned accounts towards all internal and external stakeholders and manage these interfaces
      • Drive close collaborationwith cluster sales teams for assigned account (s) to deliver an aligned “one adidas” approach to the customer
      • Createand hold presentations for larger-scale projects and coordinate core team communication, senior management communication and key milestone meetings
      • Provide and demonstrate expertise in key forums as required (e.g. LFS senior team meetings, local market fashion meetings, GTM CI/SO

Key Relationships:

  • Buyers (across, accounts), LFS team, Cluster fashion sales teams for assigned account (s) Key City teams, Account Marketing, Sales Development, Customer Service, Credit Management, Finance, Statement above Market team and relevant global BU’s

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Sales Manager with proven track record of success
  • Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, negotiation)
  • Proven methodological skills (e.g. business planning, strategic development)
  • Broad and deep functional skills (e.g. Sales, Customer Service, Finance, IT)
  • High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of the adidas Group business along with significant industry experience
  • Mental flexibility, initiative and determination
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in another language are a benefit
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • Degree in business administration with focus on Sales/Marketing
  • Business: 4+ years
  • Functional: 2+ years’ experience in sales, ideally in the fashion industry
  • Cross-functional experience ideally with marketing / sales / finance
  • Industry: sporting goods / retail / consumer goods
