As a Wealth Management, UHNW Investor, Vice President in the Taiwan team (Singapore based) of J.P. Morgan Private Bank, you are responsible for advising UHNW clients on building, preserving and managing their wealth. You will use your knowledge of multi assets investments to partner up closely with bankers and advise clients on all aspects of investments. You will be part of a local team and supported by an institutional platform that has the resources, specialists and intellectual capital to help you advise clients on achieving their desired goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be the lead Investor on a portfolio of key client relationships for the Taiwan business, run out of our Singapore office
- Understand & effectively communicate the bank views & solutions to clients to help them meet their financial objectives
- Conduct investment reviews and maintain investment dialogue with clients to validate the clients' current investment objectives and prepare recommendations of appropriate investment products
- Develop relationships with immediate team members (Investors & Bankers) and work as a team to ensure that the business meets its Goals
- Actively involved with Team members in deepening existing relationships and on-boarding new client relationships.
- May assist in developing new products based on market/client needs.
- Develop a sound understanding of Rules & Regulations and ensuring 100% compliance with them
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor Degree with minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in a similar investment advisory capacity at another private bank or a wealth management firm
- You must have strong analytical and communication skills
- Able to work under minimal supervision; adaptable to work in fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and results-focused
- Sound knowledge of the financial industry
- Fluency in Mandarin is required as this role will be covering clients from Taiwan
Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
- Good knowledge with direct experience advising clients on alternative investments, including but not limited to hedge funds, private equity, private credit and real estate
- Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses preferred. However, if you do not possess an existing Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) Register in Singapore, you will be required to sit for Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Paper 1 & 2, in order to get registered as a Representative with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the private banking industry.
- Knowledge in Taiwan market is a plus
- Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines
- Strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments
