The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Customer application engineering for distribution business in UK and North Europe on cable accessories.
• Lead customize kitting programs, define BOM´s (Bill Of Material), create installation instruction and technical specification.
• Interface with power utilities, EPC firms (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), and large industrial firms to lead technical tender requirement Medium Voltage (MV).
• Provide hands on training, support and demonstrate installations at customer site that includes electrical and mechanical integration in MV distribution infrastructure

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Experienced Crafts Engineers who have spent on the tools, with possibly an ONC or HNC
• Alternatively: Academic: BS or Master in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 5 years’ experience in power systems and controls by working in anIntegrator/Consultingfirm, Electrical OEM, or Power utility
• Languages: Fluent English

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include

• Experience in power distribution system planning for EV infrastructure development
• Experienced in MV distribution automation applications, infrastructure, and Standards.
• Experienced with testing and simulation in lab and field (grid) environments

Job Specifics:

• Location: 3M Bracknell UK (Work home base)
• Responsible Region is North Europe Region
• Travel: up to 50% mainly national (UK/I) and North Europe
• Company car
• an expertise team across EMEA will support your Onboarding program including practical trainings in the laboratory
