Job Title:Global Equities - Index Exotics Trader - Vice President


Short Job Description:Lead our Equity Exotics trading team as a Vice President, managing large portfolios and driving innovation in equity exotic products on EMEA indices and single stocks.

As a Vice President on the Equity Exotics trading team, you will lead efforts to price equity exotic structures for sales and clients, manage risk portfolios, and collaborate with Quantitative Research to develop models for new structures. Your role involves driving strategic initiatives to enhance trading strategies and portfolio management, ensuring compliance and fostering innovation in trading activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Price equity exotic structures for sales and clients.
  • Lead risk management efforts for equity exotic portfolios.
  • Collaborate with PnL and Market Risk teams to substantiate daily risk and PnL.
  • Work closely with Quantitative Research to build models for new exotic structures.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance trading strategies and portfolio management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Highly motivated equity trader with extensive experience in trading index or single stock exotics.
  • Solid understanding of equity exotic products and derivatives pricing models.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage high-performing teams.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Expertise in coding and programming , particularly in Python or other relevant languages
  • Experience interacting with major institutional investors.
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
