As a Credit Monitoring Quality Control Analyst for the Commercial Bank, you will be responsible for providing oversight of the Credit Monitoring team’s work to ensure the Monitoring Analyst has accurately reviewed and recorded the compliance results in accordance with credit agreement terms of the borrower. In this role, you will review the work of Monitoring Analysts and provide a secondary interpretation of financial and other covenants in order to confirm whether borrowers are meeting the terms of the credit agreements or in default. The credit agreements cover syndicated loans and bilateral agreements. As a Credit Monitoring Quality Control Specialist for the Commercial Bank you will re-perform testing methods to ensure compliance to all applicable procedures, policies and regulations. In this role, you will be required to document test steps and results in a comprehensive and organized manner to sufficiently support and justify testing conclusions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Re-perform testing methods to ensure compliance to all applicable procedures, policies and regulations
- Develop and execute robust test guidelines designed to measure quality of spreads completed by the business
- Document test steps and results in comprehensive and organized manner to sufficiently support and justify testing conclusions
- Partner with business units through ongoing testing, monitoring of trending critical errors, determining root causes and recognizing opportunities for process improvement.
- Be accountable for meeting deliverables and deadlines
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; At least 3 years of experience in financial services industry with solid background in credit monitoring
- Strong Analytical/critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present concise findings in a persuasive manner
- Self-motivated with effective time management and multitasking skills
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills; exceptional collaboration and relationship building skills
- Flexible, quickly adapts to changes in the work environment, and manages competing priorities to achieve the most effective results; ability to work a flexible shift as required
