Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines AND 6+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 3+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to work with and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines AND 8+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Responsibilities
  • Experience working on Microsoft (or other industry) large scale services
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to make informed tradeoffs, and able to break down and solve complex and often ambiguous problems.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and experience with programming or scripting languages like C#/Java/Python, and SQL, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Engineering for distributed, reliable, and scalable systems
  • Experience presenting plans and getting buy off with senior technical leaders
  • Cross group collaboration with the ability to influence and drive change cross group
