As an DevOps engineer you will be working with the DevOps reps (internally and externally), R&D engineers and IT specialists to gather requirements, architect, design and implement AWS architecture references that meets our customers’ requirements, with best practices in mind.
How will you make an impact?
- Lead the design and implementation of DevOps strategies and solutions, leveraging best practices and industry standards
- Architect, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes
- Drive the adoption and integration of DevOps tools and practices across the organization
- Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure seamless deployment and release management
- Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure
- Lead efforts to improve security posture by implementing best practices for code security, access control, and compliance
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in DevOps and cloud computing
Have you got what it takes?
- 8-10 years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing DevOps solutions
- Strong expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including services like EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and Azure DevOps
- Deep understanding of Maven build automation tool, including configuring and managing projects, dependencies, and plugins effectively
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk
- Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed environment
