Your Role and ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will include:You be
responsible for actively driving and managing all technical aspects of the sales process
Working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products.
- You will also be responsible for establishing and nurturing technical relationships with our technology partners (both SI and ISV)
- And provide advocacy and thought leadership through your engagements with prospects, partners and the market.
- Solution Definition:Defining IBM Data & AI solutions that enhance technology stacks.
- Educational Support:Providing proof of concepts and simplifying complex topics to educate clients.
- Credibility Building:Establishing credibility and trust to facilitate the closure of intricate Cloud tech deals.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Fluent in German and English
- Pre-sales Experience: 10+ years proven track record in pre-sales, managing technical sales cycles from
- Data industry experience: with a focus on ETL, BI, analytics applications, big data and streaming applications.
- Technical Proficiency: Linux experience as well as exposure to programming languages, such as Java, Perl, Python, and Unix Shell scripts
- Data Platforms Experience :big data and cloud technologies (Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Competitive Products Experience: Informatica, Talend, Confluent
- Cloud Architecture: experience with AWS, Azure
