Job Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy production grade native Android Mobile application to solve various business use cases for the firm
• Provide overall direction, oversight, training and coaching for a team of entry-level software engineers that work on basic to moderately complex tasks
• Accountable for decisions that influence teams’ resources, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures
• Ensure successful collaboration across teams and stakeholders
• Identify and mitigates issues to execute a book of work while escalating issues as necessary
• Provide input to leadership regarding approach, and technical considerations to improve operational efficiencies and functionality for the team
• Create a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for team members and prioritizes diverse representation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Formal training or certification on Native Mobile Engineering concepts and applied experience.
• Experience as a leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise.
• Practical Mobile native experience with Expert knowledge in all phases of the mobile app development life cycle
• Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines
• Use of Frameworks and APIs around Java Kotlin. Experience in using Jetpack compose, and Instruments for Profiling.
• A Strong experience with Data Structures, Type Conversions, Multi-Threading. Experience with One or more Design Patterns – MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture
• Enthusiasm for automated testing and experience with unit testing frameworks
• Understanding of CI/CD systems such as Gradle, Jenkins or similar systems and experience in an Agile development environment and well versed with agile ceremonies
• Experience working with Security, ANR, API integration, distributed systems, monitoring, caching, and persistence solutions.
• Demonstrated skill and passion for operational excellence, Customer-focused mindset, taking pride in creating an informative data-driven journey.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Overall 8 to 10 years of industry experience including developing large scale mobile applications
• Strong communication skills along with significant experience of managing stakeholder of diverse background
• Understands the importance of unit testing and is able to write meaningful unit tests
• Understanding of GIT and GIT workflow
• Experience with Dagger, OKHTTP, shellscript, and in areas like accessibility, and dynamically themed user interface design preferred
• Ability to guide and coach teams on approach to achieve goals aligned against a set of strategic initiatives
• Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent
