Intel Principal Solution Architect - HPC

The primary responsibility for this position will be to act as the Technical Solution Architect of the HPC Projects, working in tight collaboration with Intel internal teams from SMG and BU ,also work with OEM's and end customers of India region. The candidate will be responsible for the below functions and any future assignments given by intel• Should be able to communicate intel technical value proposition for the HPC requirements of the customer assessing the Application and performance requirements of the customer Work Loads.• Positioning right Intel HPC products to the customer and making the customer aware of the benefits of these SKU's over competition.• Should be able to take customer WL and port/Optimize on the respective Intel architecture• Should be familiar with the entire HPC stack from Infra structure to middle ware to Libraries to Application layers.• Maintain good technical relation with OEM/OEDM's and continuously impart trainings in association with the SDM's to keep the Partners updated on the Intel offerings.• Should be able to optimize the applications at node level , Cluster level using Ethernet and InfiniBand fabric with Open MP/MPI and Multiple Open source/Commercial Mathematical libraries.• Provides technical expertise to Intel sales teams, external partners, and end customers.• While the focus is on HPC, it is necessary to develop know-hows / best practices of AI on Intel products and be familiar with AI stacks.• Understands competitive landscape to deliver use case based benchmarks and drive customer driven technical incubations.• Supports customer design win needs and facilitates product and program updates.• Liaises with Global HPC and Intel product experts to be up to date on roadmap, product and technical and update Internal and External stake holders.• Plans and implements training roadmap, assets, schedule, availability, and delivery.Required Qualifications:• A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferably in Computer Science or Electronics and communication engineering.• Minimum 15 + years or equivalent of relevant work experience in HPC application tuning on High Performance Computing architecture.• Familiarity with the setup/deployment of Linux based HPC Clusters, common performance benchmarks like HPL, HPCG, OSU, Stream, Spec FP/Spec Int etc.• Expertise SW development and debug environments (C/C++, Fortran, MPI Libraries) and Profiling (v Tune) and performance tuning.• HPC Infra structure technologies knowledge in Compute server, accelerators, storage and networking in HPC.• Excellent presentation and communication (Verbal/Written) skills in English is essential requirement.• Hands-on experience on commonly used HPC development and optimization tools (One API and Open source), job schedulers and software libraries.• Candidate should be open to travel domestically at short notices.Preferred Qualification:• Master Degree or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering (equivalent professional experience will also be accepted)• AI on Xeon and accelerators with Frame works for ML/DL is an added valueExperienced HireShift 1 (India)Virtual India
