Job Responsibilities
- Delivery of strategic Investment Initiatives and the product development roadmap aligned with the Trading Services business goals.
- Drive the Client demands, platform enhancements and product development roadmap from the region, contributing to business growth & expansion in APAC market; Partner & co-ordinate with global product development & technology SMEs to build & enhance subject matter expertise in relevant business areas, delivering strategic solution for client change requests.
- Interact with all levels of management and operations to review, understand, document, and communicate business/program needs, risks, issues, and objectives. Cultivate internal cross-functional relationships within the global organization to deliver against business/program requirements.
- Plan initiative delivery timeframes, refining budgetary requirements, and ensuring completion of projects and key milestones within agreed budget and timeframes
- Work with functional partners including Product Management, Technology, Client Services, Sales, and other Operational areas to deliver agreed solutions. Work closely with Technology teams to plan and coordinate development & test phases, ensuring successful implementation of new products / service enhancements.
- Present project objectives, progress and benefits to varied audiences including senior management, J.P. Morgan clients and functional partners
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- You will ideally have worked in Securities Services landscape, for a minimum of 5+ years in an Operations, Client Service, Product/Program Management or Product Development.
- Proven track record of owning and delivering complex, strategic global products from inception to implementation & driving results through people, communication, influence management and interactions.
- Highly organized; disciplined project management skills (setting deliverables, timelines, budgets, ROI forecasts, etc.) with high level of proficiency in excel and other project management tools
- Presence, leadership, team player - ability to establish and articulate a strategic vision and engage senior business partners across geographies and functional disciplines and partner effectively to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions.
- Multi-tasking : Ability to manage and coordinate multiple streams of work simultaneously and effectively resolve issues and conflicts to insure timely delivery. Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize workloads, and manage multiple streams of work concurrently.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Energetic strategic thinker preferably with deep knowledge of Collateral Management Services and/or Securities Lending/Financing business, who can define, develop, deliver products to end-user satisfaction.
- Analytical & Technical: Strong analytical skills with complementary technical know-how skills on the general technology market trends.
- Communication: Confident communicator in all mediums across varied audiences combined with the ability to interact, influence, and negotiate wherever necessary.
- Self-directed, highly motivated, ability to work independently - knowing what to do, how to get it done and willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to deliver.
- Initiative & decision making: be able to move initiatives forward in a cross-functional, multi-locational and matrixed organizational model. Ability to make considered decisions based upon fact and business / industry knowledge.
- Background and business knowledge in Custody, Middle Office, Funds Services is a plus
