The IT Communications Specialist– connecting them with the information, resources and support they need to challenge today and reinvent tomorrow.

Success in this role is grounded in the ability to listen, ask questions for deeper understanding, and ultimately, translate complex information into crisp, clear communications.

As an IT Communications Specialist, you will:

  • Support key IT initiatives and provide strategic communications expertise to help ensure project success.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies that inform employees, inspire action and align to IT’s vision and priorities.
  • Execute clear, consistent and timely communications to ensure employees have the information they need to navigate changes and do their jobs.
  • Provide continuous education for employees through communications that promote digital capability in the areas of cybersecurity, data governance, change enablement and emerging technology best practices.
  • Follow corporate brand standards to ensure message consistency.
  • Track analytics and metrics that demonstrate effectiveness of deliverables and tactics,identify key learnings, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate well with partners across a highly matrixed organization including fostering positive relationships with key teams and stakeholders across the business.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Deliver projects successfully, whether working independently or with a team, in a way that’s proactive, results-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Exhibit an innate curiosity and desire to learn, always looking for ways to improve and innovate.

Ideally, you will also:

  • Knowledge of AP Style
  • Experience with website/intranet/content management, executive communications and change management

Qualifications

  • Established experience in marketing, communications and project management (3-5 years)
  • An English writer who can expertly craft communications in the most simple, clear and straightforward manner
  • Proven and successful track record of moving projects forward with an eye on what’s next as well as what’s to come
