The Camera module test engineering group is responsible for research, design, development, test, and qualification of camera hardware for Apple products. The team is looking for multidisciplinary engineer with responsibilities for the designing and bringing up the metrology and software that calibrates and tests the imaging components that go into Apple products. You will be involved with designing, implementing, debugging, and developing the methodology and metrology to calibrate imaging systems and then the metrics to quantify their performance at factories around the world.
- Work with MIs to validate and qualify test solutions on a regular basis. - Participate in yield loss investigation and failure analysis for possible test related issues or improvement. Work with MIs to improve test system UPH, retest rates, and efficiency. - Oversee regular test related actives at MIs.
- BS or MS in CS/EE/Imaging/Physics/Optics/Color Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience, familiar with camera components and functions.
- Good communication skills.
- 75% travel to suppliers' facilities across Asia could be required.
- Strong problem solving ability and critical thinking.
- Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Knowledge is preferred.
- Possessing knowledge to review mechanical and electrical design for socket, fixtures and test systems as well as to troubleshoot their related issues.
- Being familiar with MATLAB/Python programming skills and data analysis experience using JMP is strongly desired.
