The Role

As a leader of this development organization, your key responsibilities include:

• Lead a team of talented engineers in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based applications and services.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Drive best practices in software development, architecture, design patterns, and coding standards.
• Take care of people management in all its aspects (hiring, performance and talent management including goal setting, motivation, coaching and development of individuals and teams, plan and manage skill development, etc.).
• Ensure on time and high-quality delivery of committed roadmap requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance product development and efficiency.
• Communicate technical concepts and project updates effectively to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Manage and execute against delivery commitments and adoption of automation, quality, and continuous delivery.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science with strong management experience with overall experience of 12+ years including 8+ years of solid understanding of cloud-based applications & services in a product development company.
• Strong software analysis/design/programming skills. At least 5 years of experience working in a commercial product development environment.
• Sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, design patterns and architecture principles
• Practical experience in software development and Agile methodologies are required.
• Strong team player with the mind-set to work in a high impact team.
• Work experience on UI based technologies such as Angular JS, bootstrap, React etc.. OR Spring Boot is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and managing technical teams.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing principles (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role within a technology company.
