In this role, you'll:- Tackle complex performance challenges in multimedia systems- Implement and fine-tune advanced video processing algorithms
- Contribute to the development of secure, high-quality video playback solutions
Key job responsibilities
- Optimize multimedia pipeline performance for SoCs, focusing on display, video decoder, and other components.- Integrate and fine-tune AI-based video enhancement features and memory-to-memory scalars for high-resolution displays.- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases to validate multimedia functionality and performance.- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) for various multimedia use cases.- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the multimedia subsystem.- Contribute to the development of efficient, low-power solutions for portable consumer devices.- Stay current with emerging multimedia technologies and industry standards.- Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality, well-documented code.These responsibilities encompass the core duties of the role, focusing on optimization, integration of new features, security implementation, testing, and cross-team collaboration, all crucial for advancing multimedia capabilities in consumer electronics.A day in the life

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
