Your Impact
· Experience in Environmental Monitoring and undertaking acoustic modelling using software such as SoundPLAN and/or CadnaA.
· Designing and implementation of site-based acoustics and/or vibration measurements.
· Leading discussions in meetings with clients and other consultants.
· Driving innovation and collaborating with the team to develop new digital solutions to solve acoustics challenges with our clients.
· Delivering projects with minimal supervision including project planning, client liaison and provision of advice.
· Contribute to complex large scale projects including preparation of technical deliverables and client reports in addition to coordination and/or preparation of tender submissions, cost estimates and client reports.
Here’s What You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Acoustics, Environmental Science, or it's equivalent
10+ years relevant recent experience in noise impact assessment and controls.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address noise-related issues effectively.
Coding skills are not essential but would be seen as favourable.
Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
Good understanding of acoustic principles and be able to demonstrate their technical acumen in areas such as sound propagation, noise control, and environmental sound monitoring
Membership of professional bodies such as the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) may also be beneficial.
