As a Cloud Operations Architect, You Will Be Responsible For:

• Having Skilled in aligning customer needs with cloud solutions and infrastructure management.
• Solving complex cloud and compute issues proactively for our customers on Akamai Connected cloud.
• Developing operational support cadences and workflows as part of the Global Cloud Operations team
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve challenges, identify deficiencies and assess the stability of customer cloud workflows
• Guiding and mentoring the front-line team with technical guidance and ensuring customers receive top-quality resolution
• Contributing to the growth of cloud and compute expertise through training, tech talks, knowledge base articles

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 4 years of experience in public cloud, serverless platforms, and microservices, with a degree in Computer Science.
• Have good understanding in cloud concepts, VMs, Kubernetes, Networking, Security, Storage, and Databases
• Have expertise in networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, CDN, and load balancing.
• Have knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
• Have familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD ,Terraform, Ansible, Chef and Puppet.
• Possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills to effectively , customer facing role.
• Have Basic knowledge of System Design and Architecture. Possess knowledge of Python/Go,Bash/ PowerShell.
• Have cloud certifications will be a added point - KCNA, CKA, CKAD, PCA, Terraform
