About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced expatriate tax professional who:

  • Has strong technical skills and a desire for continuous learning.
  • Is an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Has a strategic and commercial mindset with an awareness of broader business issues.
  • Brings an enthusiastic and adaptable attitude to work.
  • Is a strong team player, able to integrate quickly into new teams.
  • Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Has project management skills, including planning, prioritizing, and budget monitoring.
  • Holds a professional qualification: ATT, ACA, CA, ACCA, CTA, or Law qualification (or equivalent).
  • Has experience in mobility compliance, tax compliance, and advisory projects.
  • Can identify risk areas, conduct thorough reviews, and escalate when needed.
  • Is client-focused and commercially aware, with strong relationship management skills.
  • Has the ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Expatriate Tax Manager, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, focusing on both inbound expatriates to the UK and UK outbounds.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee the successful execution of mobility tax projects, ensuring technical excellence.
  • Lead day-to-day client services, covering both compliance and advisory work.
  • Drive new business by identifying tax advisory projects and securing work from target organizations.
  • Maximize value for both EY and clients, while managing risks appropriately.
    Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to their development and the overall success of the team.
  • Shape the future of the practice, embracing advancements in technology and regulatory developments.
