Job responsibilities
- Coordinates with internal development, tech teams and client teams.
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
- Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
- Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
- Fosters collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams, including development, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to align on product requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Contributes to Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, weekly grooming, bi-weekly sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Delivers work using Agile methodology. Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of product owner experience with proven track record of delivery of new products and features for a software product or digital platform.
- Prior experience with web services integrations.
- Minimum 3 years of Agile development, technology and innovation experience.
- Track record of understanding the client experience and turning it from concept to launch
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Self-starter that excels working independently and collaborating across groups
