* Edinburgh is the preferred location for this role, London base is also possible

In this AI & Data consulting role, you will work collectively with our clients to define AI & Data solutions that will enhance the client’s ability to solve business problems and deliver value.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Understand business problems and propose smart, pragmatic, and diverse approaches to address a variety of business problems into AI & Data solutions.
• Determine the value proposition of AI / ML solutions versus other alternatives.
• Design, build, and deploy solutions that seamlessly combine AI/ML and Data solutions with broader enterprise architecture
• Business development; including the development of long-term trusted advisor relationships with our clients and alliance vendors. You will support RFP responses as well as thought leadership articles that we issue to the market.
• Develop our people through coaching, talent development, recruitment and formal performance management.
• Elevate EY solutions and empower others adopt them through re-usable services, frameworks, templates, and knowledge sharing.
• Manage and track engagement financials, including time management, billing and invoice management.

:

• 5+ years’ of FS experience in one of the following sectors: Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management, or Insurance
• 3+ years’ experience applying AI / ML engineering in a commercial setting.
• Track record of successfully delivering end-to-end Gen AI / Data science / Machine learning solutions.
• Experience creating new AI propositions / assets/ solutions and launching these to the market
• Experience with MLOps practices, covering the full cycle from design, experimentation, deployment, to monitoring and maintenance of machine learning models
• Experience using agentic AI, Gen AI, data science libraries.
• Proficient level programming skills, preferably Python.
• Software collaboration experience using version control.

• Experience of Agile and traditional SDLC delivery methodologies

Nice to have

• Relevant experience in Data and Cloud Platform Technologies

• ML Certifications on Snowflake, Databricks, or NVIDIA advantageous but not essential and EY will invest in the right candidate to support their professional development

• A point of view on how the FS industry will continue to evolve and how the technology, innovation and FinTech landscape will shape the future

• Previous consulting experience would be a plus, but so would the curiosity and ambition to develop your career with a consulting role
