Key job responsibilities
1. Understand Customer Needs: Gain a deep understanding of the customer's technical and business requirements, and identify key pain points in building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) solutions using open-source technology on AWS.5. Accelerate IDP Development: Develop plugins, tools, and reference implementations to accelerate the development of IAM solutions using open-source technologies.7. Knowledge Sharing: Present your work and research at internal and external conferences to share your expertise and insights.
8. Scaling and Optimization: Contribute to and develop scaling and optimization techniques, such as sharding algorithms, to enhance the performance and scalability of IDP solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience (C/C++, Python, Java, etc.)
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Proficiency in programming (Go, Python, JavaScript or similar) and willingness to learn new technologies as needed
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems, multi-threaded programming, and virtualization
- Professional experience building/operating solutions built on AWS or other public cloud providers
