Join the team shaping the future of digital reading at Amazon! We're seeking Support Engineers to help drive excellence in our Amazon Kindle software services.What You'll Do:
• Lead complex technical troubleshooting across multiple Kindle products and services
• Develop and maintain automation tools using Python, Java, Perl, shell scripting, and full-stack web technologies
• Manage deployment processes in staging and production environments
• Own end-to-end resolution of critical support incidents
• Build and maintain monitoring solutions and status reporting systems
• Take ownership of key digital products/components within or overlapping with Kindle
• Coordinate cross-team technical responses while maintaining service level agreements
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases
• Drive operational improvements through tool development and process optimization

- 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience in Unix
- Experience scripting in modern program languages
- Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development
- Experience scripting in one or more language (e.g. Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby)
- Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON
