In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+yrs of experience in Datapower XI52 Development/Apigee.
• Knowledge on Java programming language.
• PL/SQL experience.
• Webservices(SOAP/REST).
• Knowledge on Network concepts, Load balancers
• Shell or Python Scripting Skills
• uDeploy, AppDynamics/ITRS

Desired Skills:

• Design, develop and implement DataPower solutions aligned with business integration requirements.
• Lead and contribute to the architecture, development, and deployment of DataPower services.
• Troubleshoot and resolves issues related to DataPower configurations, performance, and integration.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and other software development life cycle activities.
• Extensive experience working with IBM DataPower transformation languages.
• Strong understanding of SOAP, REST, and other web service protocols.
• Experience with Gateway scripting.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with multi-protocol gateways, WebSphere MQ integrations, and API Gateway concepts.
• Experience with RESTful API design principles.
