Your role:
Consumer Understanding
Understanding the ‘Consumer Decision Journey’ and taking a proactive and leading role in advising internal stakeholders on the effective use of PR and Influencer in the (Retail) Media mix of the total marketing activation strategy.
Stay on top of the latest consumer trends and developments in the (Online) Media and Influencer landscape, and work together with our partners and our Western European Team to experiment & learn with new methods and insights with regards to influencer marketing
Setting Strategy
Development of strong always-on and pro-active PR plans, aligned with business objectives and campaign calendars.
Playing a pivotal role in shaping the communication & activation Strategy for the Philips Brand, and the separate Business Categories that operate within it, to ensure consistency, relevancy and effectiveness.
Setting the KOL and Influencer Strategy for the Personal Health businesses
Briefing & Implementation
Briefing, preparing and implementing local PR and influencer campaigns in line with the marketing and communication strategy, whilst following relevant corporate guidelines.
Ensure a 360 integration of PR/influencer plans in the total activation mix, including (traditional) media and retail media with key retail customers
Integration and coordination of global/WEU content into local activation plans and calendars
Ensure that execution of strategies, plans and activities are done with excellence.
Campaign & Agency Management
Direct PR agency for rolling out of our PR and Influencer campaigns
Setting, measuring and tracking KPIs against predetermined targets, ensuring that our initiatives deliver to objectives.
Optimisation of digital campaigns as part of the brand and PR mix
Budget management and the integration of this with the total Marketing budget.
Teamwork
Teaming up with stakeholders across the Philips business (B2C & B2B) to ensure consistency in our communications approach across the Philips brand in the Benelux
Working as part of a networked European Organisation to drive PR/Influencer/Media best practices across Europe.
Internal Stakeholder Management
Strong internal stakeholder management, from BNLX/EU Leadership as well as our Global Press Office, local Brand & Communication Teams and to Local Category Marketing Managers.
Sharing regular updates on the performance of PR activities across the Organisation.
Reputational Risk Management
Acting as local spokesperson for media enquiries and communicate professionally in crisis situations and in other situations in which issues arise which could result in a lasting damage to the Philips company reputation
You're the right fit if:
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s Degree
You have 5+ years of experience in a public relationship and/or influencer & media management role, with a focus on Business to Consumer (B2C).
Can show a proven track record in driving effective, 360 degrees and excellent PR and influencer (& media) campaigns. Experience in media management is preferred
Show extensive experience in managing agencies and driving improved outcomes based on relevant KPI’s such as reach, engagement rate and brand impact
Have a thorough understanding of driving brand preference, and the role of PR and influencer marketing in this
Have an autonomous attitude – capable of setting own agenda and develop an internal/external network
Have a highly entrepreneurial spirit and get energy from trying out new things
You actively learn and share learnings, by having a continuous improvement mindset
Have a customer and consumer first mindset with external stakeholder management skills
Able to manage and plan projects and have experience in budget management and related tools.
Must be fluent in Dutch and English on professional level.
