You will join as part of the AWS Professional Services (ProServe) Associate to Consultant (A2C) practice, which focuses on the accelerated career development of college graduates and early career professionals. You will have the specific remit to help accelerate our growing UK National Security and Public Safety Professional Services business in the UK.
Key job responsibilities
This is a customer facing role however we operate a hybrid working model (virtual and face to face). You will be required to travel to UK client locations (~3 days on customer site per week) to deliver professional services to our customers.As a ProServe consultant, you will be:
• Working Backwards from desired customer outcomes to design and deliver technical solutions
• Working on projects with autonomy and discretion
• Advising customers how to implement solutions
• Working on projects with autonomy and discretion
• Advising customers how to implement solutions
• Architecting and developing customer applications to be cloud optimized
• Working as a technical specialist alongside customer business, development and infrastructure teams.
• Assisting customers with building Proof of Concepts and implementing AWS services
• Collaborating with Sales and AWS Service Teams
• Researching, validating, and beta testing new AWS Services

As a successful candidate you will have previously worked in a customer facing role and have hands-on experience in one or more of the following: Public and/or Private Cloud Architecture, DevOps, Software design, Security (Architecture or Engineering), Infrastructure or Application Migrations, Platform or Systems Engineering/Administration, Operations in hybrid cloud environment, Big Data or Data AnalyticsEligibility for UK Government Security Check (SC) is required for this role: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels

• Hands-on experience with AWS or another cloud provider
• An AWS Certification - Solutions Architect Associate or a Specialty Cert
