Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that products are tested in adherence to the applicable FDA regulations and best practices, and ensure the software meets the requirements and intended use.
  • Designing and performing (manual and automated) software testing, identifying/revealing software defects and documenting test results
  • Supporting verification deliverable to the project including relevant contributions to verification plan, verification report, metrics, and dashboards
  • Tracking on new product functionality, contribute to the product design and to the testing-oriented (debug mode) features – collaborating with cross functional project team (including SW engineers, clinical specialists, project managers, product owners and architects)
  • Maintaining and enhancing testing infrastructure, integrating new tools and technologies
  • Coordinating defect management and support complaints investigation

Education/Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Student for B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information systems or equivalent degree, with at least 1.5 years before graduation
  • GPA – 80 and up
  • Ability to work for at least 27 hours per week (not including Friday)
  • Team player and passionate about quality, with great interpersonal skills
  • Self-initiated and quick learner
  • Proficient in English (mainly Writing)

Preference/Advantage:

  • Network Essentials: Understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.
  • Windows Essentials: Proficiency in Windows operating systems, including monitoring and configuration management.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools and technologies relevant to QA, such as automated testing tools, scripting languages, and version control systems.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Ability to analyze logs, identify issues, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools for productivity boost
