KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deployment Lead:
- Manage project scope and timeline, tracking key project milestones and deliverables.
- Plan and manage project tasks and resources to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate and communicate with team members across multiple streams, services, and organizations.
- Complete required internal administration, including budget management, accurately and on time.
Solution Functional Expert:
- Become a functional expert in SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing and associated cloud solutions.
- Guide customers through the design process to make decisions with full visibility into SAP Ariba Best Practices.
- Map, configure, and document customer’s business processes, advise on solutions and workarounds.
- Drive “the best in class” business processes implementation on SAP Ariba Cloud solutions.
- Up to date with the features, functionalities, and applicability of distinct areas of the SAP Ariba Operational Procurement solutions (SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Guided Buying, and SAP Business Network solutions).
Customer Focus:
- Own customer satisfaction during the successful deployment of solutions.
- Speak to a variety of customers from different departments, at different levels, and in large or small groups (e.g., client project manager, technical team).
- Educate customers (onsite and remotely) on SAP Ariba Cloud solutions.
- Influence the opinions and decisions of clients using an understanding of client’s organizational processes and structure.
Teamwork and Development:
- Develop and maintain team’s operating principles, templates, and work instructions, developing team trainings.
- Quickly learn new SAP Ariba solutions to present them credibly and confidently to clients and SAP Ariba consultants or partners.
- Proactively collaborates with manager and teammates to anticipate and respond to issues that could impact solution deployment (e.g., change in scope).
- Executes with minimal guidance and shows strong initiative.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Functional / Business Process experience in Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance, Invoicing (min. 2 years)
- Software implementation experience
- Project Management experience appreciated
- Experience with / knowledge of SAP Ariba solutions with a focus on Materials Management and Procurement functions and features would be a plus
- Experience with / knowledge of SAP solutions (e.g. S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fieldglass, SAP Concur) would be a plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES
- University degree, preferably in business/computer sciences
- Fluent English is a must and another major European language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Finnish) would be an advantage
- Technical understanding and capabilities

- Strong consulting skills and teamwork
- Demonstrated Project Management or PMI preferred
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Travel required (10%)
